Experience has taught me that we all have the potential to align and live our lives according to an internal compass and an intact core, no matter how wounded, disconnected or symptomatic we may feel.
If our connection to this natural creative force is foreclosed and we adapt in order to compensate, we suffer. As a result we develop negative attitudes and feelings towards our aliveness, our sense of self and in relation to others.
Irrespective of our experiences, the challenges we have encountered involuntarily present an opportunity for new discoveries and personal development. Every experience that we initially perceive as being painful or threatening provides the potential for further learning and evolving. The emotions and ideas that we would prefer to dismiss, get rid of and avoid therefore need our attention. Developing this capacity necessitates a willingness to engage with these experiences, patience, and time.
Anchored in this trust, my primary intention is to encourage agency, clarity and self-compassion. Therefore, accepting what is, an open heart and a sincere and undistorted meeting at eye level are essential for me.
